Ashley Murray Muspratt

Ashley Muspratt is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CET, an environmental non-profit focused on just and resilient climate solutions. She has served in multiple roles at CET, spearheading novel building decarbonization services, wasted food solutions, and financing opportunities for customers and partners. Before joining CET, Muspratt co-founded 30 degrees, providing advisory services on the design and operation of urban sanitation systems. She also founded Waste Enterprisers Holding (USA) and its operating arm, Pivot Ltd (Rwanda), a startup company that converts human waste into industrial fuel. She began her career as a researcher, first at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and then at the International Water Management Institute in Ghana. Muspratt was named a National Geographic Emerging Explorer in 2011, a Fellow at the 2012 Unreasonable Institute, and a mentor at the 2014 Unreasonable Institute East Africa. She has published more than 10 peer-reviewed journal articles on sanitation and renewable energy and has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences. Muspratt holds a PhD in Energy and Resources and an MS in Environmental Engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
