Barchi Gillai 

Associate Director, Value Chain Innovation Initiative, Stanford Graduate School of Business

Barchi Gillai is the associate director of the Value Chain Innovation Initiative at Stanford Graduate School of Business. In this role she leads research studies and organizes professional workshops, with a goal of fostering the development and dissemination of new knowledge in the field of value chain innovation. Her work focuses on three areas: sustainability and responsible supply chains, global supply chain design in complex trade environments, and technological innovations and their impact on value chain operations. She has more than 20 years of work experience in academic and industry settings. Gillai holds a PhD in management science and engineering from Stanford University, a MS in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University, and a BS in industrial engineering and management from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
