Christine Eibs Singer is a global advocate of accelerated energy access, with more than 30 years of experience focused on the intersection of public and private finance. As Program Director of The Shine Campaign, Christine’s leading the effort to accelerate new funding to energy access at the last mile, specifically women- and community-led initiatives, and elevating the nexus of energy access-gender equity and climate adaptation. Christine also serves as Senior Advisor with Catalyst Energy Advisors. Christine has supported energy access initiatives with the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, IRENA, and the Kenyan Ministry of Energy for the Kenyan Off-Grid Solar Access Program. A co-founder of E+Co, a pioneer in energy enterprise development and blended capital investment, Christine is on the Board of REEEP and the Advisory Council of Solar Sister. She was a founding member of Power for All and served on the Advisory Committee of the Global Distributors Collective; she also served as Director of SELCO India and as a Senior Advisor to SEforALL. Ms. Singer’s recognitions include the 2007 Woman of Inspiration Award from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from New Jersey City University. Ms. Singer is a Trustee of Park United Methodist Church, an Ambassador Emeritus of the C3E Women in Energy Initiative, an Ashden Award International Judge and an independent member of GOGLA.
