Colleen Scholl is Senior Vice President with HDR, an architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Omaha, NE. Colleen directs the engineering activities and over 1,200 technical staff for clients in industries such as power, oil and gas, mining, and waste and leads the development of technical or production approaches, risk management practices and problem solving for strategic initiatives, key project pursuits or services with the business unit. Colleen holds BS and MS degrees in engineering fields and an MBA in management of engineering and technology. She is a registered professional engineer in 3 states.

Passionate about advancing the cause of women in energy and providing resources to help them reach their fullest potential, Colleen is the President and CEO of Lean In Energy, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women in the energy sector and those interested in energy to achieve their ambitions through mentoring, community, public awareness, and education. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Women Engineers for 4 years including a term as Society President in 2015.
