Lisa Dyson

Lisa Dyson has broad business experience developing corporate strategies in industries including packaging, energy, automotive, chemicals, telecommunications, travel, and nonprofits. She is a co-inventor of the Kiverdi carbon transformation technology, which will lead to a new era of sustainable production, and she was honored to present Kiverdi on the TED stage (visit http://tinyURL.com/LisaDyson to view her TED Talk). She also leads correlated company Air Protein, which seeks to feed the world’s population with protein made from elements found in air. Prior to founding Kiverdi, Dyson was a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where she worked with executives at multinational corporations to help them solve strategic business problems. Dyson’s entrepreneurial background began when she was on the founding team of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) startup that received funding from Microsoft, and she later built and led a team that developed a technology that reached millions in volunteering campaigns. Her technical background began with and has included research in bioengineering, energy, and physics at Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; Princeton University; University of California, San Francisco; and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories. Among recent accolades, Fast Company named Dyson one of the Most Creative People in Business 2017, and the San Francisco Business Times inducted her into the Forever Influential Honor Roll after honoring her as “One of the Most Influential Women in the Bay Area” for two years. She earned a PhD in physics from MIT, and she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of London, where she received a Master of Science degree. She also has degrees in physics and mathematics from Brandeis University.
