The 2020 C3E Award Recipients

This week, we proudly presented the 2020 U.S. Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) Awards to eight mid-career women who have demonstrated leadership and high achievement in the field of clean energy. Bobi Garrett, former Chief Operating Officer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, was recognized as the U.S. C3E Lifetime Achievement Honoree for her long history of clean energy leadership. The Awards were part of the ninth Annual U.S. C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium hosted virtually this year by the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI). The U.S. C3E Initiative is led by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in collaboration with MITEI, Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy, and the Texas A&M Energy Institute.

The U.S. C3E Award winners are an impressive group of women who are making a difference in the field of clean energy, while serving as mentors for others. Learn more about the 2020 U.S. C3E Award recipients.
