In addition, Silvia supports clients navigating complex issues related to grid enhancing technologies, renewables interconnections, and regulatory support, driving her clients toward sustainable and forward-thinking solutions. Silvia is part of a team with an approach that combines passion, deep expertise, and extensive industry relationships to chart a resilient path toward sustainability for their clients.
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, Silvia brings field experience and insights to conducting climate vulnerability assessments of assets in the power grid and providing valuable risk forecasts. Her work enhances investment plans and enables resilient communities and infrastructure, ensuring that utilities are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities presented by our evolving energy landscape.
Before her role at Guidehouse, Silvia worked 18 years at Avangrid, where she held various positions, including Manager Sustainability, Manager Substation Standards, and Manager Protection & Control Engineering. Her broad experience has shaped her into a seasoned professional who understands the intricacies of the energy industry.
Silvia holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is committed to continuous learning and dedicated to driving positive change within the energy sector.
